Handling damage during a tenancy
Accidental damage such as burns, deep stains or torn carpet is common in shared housing and is best addressed with repair methods that do not require a full room re-fit. Carpet tiles allow a single damaged tile to be swapped, while plank-format LVT allows individual planks to be lifted and replaced where the covering was installed with future repair in mind.
- Carpet tiles allow single-tile replacement rather than a full room re-carpet
- Plank-format LVT can often be lifted and replaced individually if installed correctly
