Sequencing a multi-floor refurbishment
Larger hotels often refurbish floor by floor over an extended period rather than the whole building at once, which keeps the majority of rooms sellable throughout but requires careful sequencing so that finishes, batch colours and pile match consistently by the time the last floor is completed.
- Floor-by-floor sequencing agreed at the outset to plan material ordering
- Batch and dye lot checked across phases to avoid visible colour variation
- Noise and dust from fitting managed to limit disruption to occupied floors below or above
