When laminate isn't worth repairing
If gapping is widespread and the click joints have been damaged by repeated movement, patching individual boards rarely gives a good result, since the surrounding boards have already lost their tight fit too. In that case a fuller relay, or in some cases replacement, is the more honest recommendation.
Laminate that's gapped due to moisture ingress from below shouldn't just be re-laid without dealing with the moisture first, or the same gapping will return once the new boards are down.
