Seam welding as part of infection control
Hot air welding fuses adjoining sheets of safety vinyl into a single continuous surface with no open joint for moisture or contamination to sit in, and the welded seam is trimmed flush so it does not create a ridge that would otherwise be harder to clean thoroughly.
- Seams positioned away from high-traffic pivot points such as doorways where practical
- Weld rod colour matched or contrast-specified to the vinyl as the practice prefers
- Welded seams trimmed flush for a fully level, hygienic finish
