Warehouse and Workshop Flooring in Kent
Flooring for warehouse offices, welfare areas and workshops in Kent: safety flooring, commercial LVT and vinyl, subfloor prep, supply only or supply and fit.
Most of a warehouse floor is bare or coated concrete built to carry racking and forklifts, and that slab is a job for specialist concrete contractors rather than a flooring fitter. The part we look after is everything around it: the offices, staff kitchens, washrooms, changing areas, reception and light workshop spaces where people spend their day.
Those rooms take harder use than a typical office. Staff come in from the warehouse floor with grit on their boots, kitchens and washrooms are wet, and the building rarely stops working. The floor has to cope with all of that and be fitted without holding up operations.

Matching the floor to each area
| Area | Usual choice | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Staff kitchen and canteen | Safety flooring | Keeps grip when wet or greasy |
| Washrooms and changing | Safety vinyl, welded and coved | No open joints for water |
| Offices and meeting rooms | Carpet tiles or commercial LVT | Comfortable, easy to replace in sections |
| Reception and corridors | Commercial LVT or vinyl | Takes grit from boots and wipes clean |
| Light workshop areas | Heavy duty vinyl | Resilient, easy to clean |
The subfloor decides the result
Industrial units often have uneven concrete, old adhesive residue or damp slabs in the office block. Resilient floors show all of that. We check moisture and flatness at survey and include preparation such as latex screed or a damp proof membrane in the quote where it is needed, so the finished floor stays down and flat.
Fitting around a working site
If you have your own maintenance team, we can also supply the flooring only, with the same product advice.
- Work phased by area so welfare facilities stay usable
- Timings agreed around shifts, deliveries and loading bay use
- Old flooring and waste removed from site
- Method statement and risk assessment supplied on request
Frequently asked questions
- Do you coat or resurface the warehouse slab itself?
- No. We fit flooring in the offices, welfare areas and workshop spaces. Structural or resin work on the main warehouse slab needs a specialist concrete contractor.
- What flooring suits a warehouse staff kitchen?
- Safety flooring is the usual choice, because it keeps its grip when the floor is wet or greasy and can be welded at the seams.
- Can you fit while the unit is operating?
- Yes, the work is planned in phases around your shifts and deliveries so the building keeps running.
- Is supply only available?
- Yes, supply only and supply and fit are both available for commercial customers.
